Demystifying the Usage of Mercedes SD C6 Original

 MB STAR C6 is a state-of-the-art diagnostic instrument specifically designed for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This advanced tool is tested and fully compliant with OBD2 protocols, ensuring that it will not affect the vehicle’s ECU and sensors. With its reliable and safe diagnostic capabilities, it is crucial to prioritize vehicle safety before using the Mercedes SD C6 Original.


The MB STAR C6 is built in accordance with the SEA J2534 protocol, making it a professional tool for detecting vehicle faults using diagnostic software on a laptop or computer. It supports various protocols such as ISO 15765 (CAN), ISO 14230, ISO 9141, J1850, and ISO13400 (DoIP). Additionally, it can handle a maximum voltage of 16V.


There are two options for connecting the MB STAR C6 to a computer: via a USB connecting cable or through Wi-Fi. The diagnostic software that is compatible with this tool includes Xentry, DAS, Vediamo, DTS Monaco, and more. It supports all 12V Mercedes-Benz vehicles, excluding non-standard agreement models such as 124, 140, 170, 202, 210, 463, 107, 126, and 201. It also supports the latest authorization 206 and 223 DOIP vehicles.


The MB STAR C6 has extensive ECU support, allowing for diagnostic and programming capabilities for all ECUs, including engines (both gasoline and diesel systems), transmissions, electronic selector modules, airmatic and active body control suspension systems, traction systems, supplementary restraint systems (SRS), drive authorization systems, and many more. It also supports various functions such as maintenance data query, parts inquiry, and programming and coding.


To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended to use a computer configuration with at least an i5 CPU and 4GB of running memory. It is also advisable to use a solid-state hard disk with a capacity of at least 256GB. The provided software already includes the full software system and is exclusively compatible with the MB STAR C6 VCI. It is important not to connect other devices for diagnosis and to refrain from installing any irrelevant software or drivers. In case of software damage, it is recommended to contact the supplier for remote assistance or to send the hard disk back for reinstallation.
